Maine Nursing Preceptor Education Program (MNPEP) for Mass General Brigham

A signature program of Lunder-Dineen, the Maine Nursing Preceptor Education Program (MNPEP) addresses the need for formally trained nurse preceptors in Maine. Since 2015, MNPEP has helped strengthen the nursing workforce by enhancing the skills of preceptors who support nursing students, new graduates, and nurses transitioning to new roles.

To date, over 1,500 nurses across more than 100 healthcare organizations have participated. MNPEP offers a blended learning experience—dynamic, evidence-based online modules followed by live, virtual workshops held typically in October of each year. Thanks to philanthropic support, this program is currently available at no cost to MGB and Maine-based nurses.

On-Demand Modules:

MGB Nurses are eligible to take the asynchronous portion of the course at any time for free!
