Educational Resources & Community Affairs Committee Co-Chair and Executive Director of Lunder Learning Partnerships
Labrini I. Nelligan serves as Executive Director, Lunder Learning Partnerships at Peter L. Slavin, MD Academy for Applied Learning in Health Care at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Labrini is responsible for a broad portfolio of institutional activities to promote and advance the programs managed by the Office of the Chief Learning Officer as part of the Lunder Learning Initiative. Particular areas of focus for Labrini include strategic planning and integration; educational partnerships and strategy; communications outreach and community affairs; and business development and fundraising.
Since 2012, Labrini has served as the Executive Director of the Lunder-Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine (Lunder-Dineen), a one-of-a-kind health education/quality improvement program that links MGH with a neighboring state. Lunder-Dineen is charged with improving the health and well-being of Maine residents by addressing gaps in continuing education and public health by advancing the skills and expertise of health care professionals in these areas. As of 2025, over 150 organizations across settings in Maine have participated in Lunder-Dineen educational and quality improvement programs.
Labrini serves as Co-Chair of the Slavin Academy Subcommittee on Education Resources and Community Affairs and as an Instructor, Adjunct Faculty at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Labrini has co-authored educational evaluation reports for each program in partnership with academic research partners and Lunder-Dineen team members. Labrini started her career at MGH in 2007 as Manager, Campaign and Logistics, in the MGH Development Office.
Labrini was born in Athens, Greece and has lived in Massachusetts her entire life. Her background includes both hospital-based development and political campaign fundraising. Labrini holds a B.A. in Political Science from Boston University and a M.S. in Political Science from Suffolk University. Labrini’s greatest sources of pleasure are spending time with her family, enjoying the company of friends and traveling.
