Lisa Neville

Program Manager for Undergraduate Medical Education (UME)
Lisa graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2003 with a B.S. in Electronic Media, Arts & Communication and a minor in Psychology. Her dedication to medical education began in 2008, when she started her career at Harvard Medical School, working in Curriculum Services with the Program in Medical Education. In 2015, Lisa joined Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in the Department of Medicine as a Curriculum Coordinator for the Medicine Clerkship, Practice of Medicine, and Principal Clinical Experience. After developing a program to support students at MGH throughout their four years of medical school, she became the Program Manager for Undergraduate Medical Education (UME), overseeing all medical students and their clinical education throughout their training. Over the years, Lisa has won several administrative teaching awards in recognition of her contributions to medical education. In addition to her work with students, Lisa serves as the Program Manager for the Slavin Academy’s Teaching and Training Committee, which focuses on developing the community, skill set, and careers of clinician educators. Lisa grew up in Marblehead, MA, where she currently resides. In her spare time, she enjoys planning vacations for friends, playing pickleball, and spending every summer moment at the beach.
