Education Program Coordinator

Sara Michelle Midwood, BA is the Education Program Coordinator for Teaching and Education at Massachusetts General Hospital. Sara has been at MGH since 2013 (in the MGB system since 2001), starting as the Administrative Assistant to the MGH Learning Laboratory. Sara currently oversees the scheduling and day-to-day operations for the MGH Learning Lab and the Slavin Academy. She provides administrative support for James A. Gordon, MD, MPA, Vice President of Education and Chief Learning Officer at MGH as well as for Koren A. Phillips, MBA, Executive Director for Teaching and Education.

Sara has a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and completed her junior year abroad at the University of Melbourne, in Victoria, Australia. She is a life-long Massachusetts resident, growing up in Reading and currently residing in Braintree. Sara enjoys reading in her spare time, mostly non-fiction with a special interest in Boston and WWII history.
