Together with the MGH Department of Pediatrics, the Slavin Academy is proud to sponsor the TinyTalks Educator 101 Series. TinyTalks is an innovative e-learning platform offering a repository of short, chalk-talk style educational videos taught by interdisciplinary MGH experts. These videos are targeted to meet the needs of busy, modern medical learners by providing a snapshot of key clinical and educational content. TinyTalks was initially developed to support pediatric trainees by providing clinical content. Given its positive reception, TinyTalks has expanded to include content on how to be a better educator. The Educator 101 series is designed for those who teach others across healthcare professions to review and enhance foundational medical education skills like providing feedback, embracing a growth mindset, and creating a positive learning environment. If you teach others, work with trainees, or are interested in growing your education toolkit, these videos are a wonderful starting point. We invite the entire MGB workforce to check out the TinyTalks Educator 101 series using the link below. Those interested in learning more about Pediatric TinyTalks can reach out to the Director of TinyTalks, Dr. Anna Handorf (ahandorf@mgb.org).
